happy memories

I feel compelled to write
But I am fighting with all my might
Memories so many happy memories
They could last throughout the centuries.

The warm weather, people all around
Loved ones, friends, laughter abound
So happy we were and thought we´d always be
How different things turned out we see.

Now happy memories bring only tears
Tears that could take a million years
How can it go from such a wonderful thing
To something that could only be a bad dream.

I think of all the fun we had
So many dreams and hope that now make me sad
This feeling will pass eventually, that I know
But the memories will never go.

Memories sad or happy
Make us think of what could have been
But memories is all we have right now
Memories, wonderful happy,forever memories.
