Spring is here or so they say
For me it´s just another day
Everyday is a new beginning
I don´t want to know who´s winning

The mornings are cold and dull
It smells of a fresh kull
Sometimes I think it´s me who´s dead
But I look at myself who is thin spread.

Time and days and days and times
All meld into one and chimes
The hour is new the day has dawned
The sun shines out anew.

I waited and waited and always had hope
I know there is none and now I cope
I see a fresh face in the mirror
A pretty one not a sinner.

Today is the day I look for another
I feel I am ready to enjoy what life has to offer
I feel reborn with a clean slate
To finally see if I can seek another mate.
