Time heals all wounds they say
I can only hope it every day
I wake up and must be strong
Even though it feels so wrong


Love cannot be turned on and off
I know the next months will be tough
Sometimes when it all gets too much
I look at my little sunshine and she is enough

My life has taken a sudden turn
I might not like it but it´s not my turn
Little by little my strength gains
If only to hide the pain

The pain will be there for a long long time
I love the man, he was mine
The little bits of hope I receive
Is only a whisper in the trees

My day ends as it began
Thinking of another land
To take the pain the love I still feel
So time and place I have to heal.
