New Life

Everyday I see new life around me
The small birds, the flowers,
I am also growing like a budding tree
Among the spring showers.

A new life is what I wanted
A need, a desire, a hope to be fulfilled,
Sometimes it feels I am going backwards
Every step like going uphill.

Then all of a sudden the way is clear
My sweet my little ray of light,
The sun is shining all what I hold dear
I hold onto you with all my might.

Also love I find again or at least I hope
He is sweet and tender and holds me tight
He enables me better to cope
While many things in my life can't see the light.

I do hope and pray that things will go our way
That we can be happy together
Time will tell there is so much to say
And in the end hoping forever.

Right now I am just working
On keeping my little ray happy
As we settle into this new world
And aim high into the sky for our future.

I'm so glad to hear from you, especially this way :-)
It sounds very good, and it's definitively not a step backwards. In Germany you have got the greatest gift you could get - JD - and as the rest wasn't worth staying here, you took your sunshine with you for a new start back home again.

Of course this is a hard time - you have to find yourself again in this new situation and be strong for all the things to come, but we all here, who know you (at least from here) and have seen how you have managed your life during the last months, which were so damned hard, know, that you will do it! (And of course we'd love to read about it!!!!!)

Life is quite good at the moment. Things are moving in a positive direction and JD loves it here.The worst is over.New life and love what else could I ask for!!!This forum helped me in so many ways and will continue to be an outlet for me hopefully for many years to come.
